Out of curiosity, what's the difference? They stopped using it I assume, or they just renamed "m-infi" "INFI"...

do a search on recent threads concerning infi.

But to answer your question, I think recent INFI is more like the old m-infi, since it lacks cobalt or nickel and somewhere in time m-infi was stated not to have cobalt in it.

To put it in perspective, original INFI went to 70 degrees and it was 61 Rc.

I bet that at 58-60 Rc modern infi will hit more than the old ones if someone has the strength to do it.
