Busse batac fair trade for infidu?

I am thinking of trading a really nice satin batac regular not the thick le with azwelke for an infi rmd , would this be a fair trade or should I be getting more out of the deal? Hard to judge prices as alot of the prices I see are older like 2013 etc.
Is the batac worth more than the infi rmd?
Would it be fair to ask for a trade and the rmd to pay shipping for both?

I believe you have to be a gold membership to ask for a valuation on a knife.

Have my thread going in the technical section. As soon as I figure out how to prorate my membership I will pay the extra for gold. ... God all this hate for basic members :P
 
The simple answer - regardless of the value issue - is that if both parties are satisfied with the terms of the trade, it's a good one. I've done a few trades that wouldn't have made sense to people focused on "value", and not had any regrets about it. Remember, there is more to value than perceived monetary worth.

I want to trade but I don't want to be without a bacon so when people asked for the price I posted one higher than what it should be lol. Value to me I guess :P

Seems to me you are just asking about a trade. The BATAC might be worth a bit more but if you would rather have the Infidu then go for it. I really like the INfidu a little better than the BATAC for everyday use. Seems like there are less and less Infimandus coming up for sale.
 
The batac is worth more in my opinion. The INFI RMD's are awesome knives and arguably the better user of the two, but you asked about value and I believe the RMD is worth more. The value of the Infi RMD has increased but is also pretty inflated due to the popularity. The batac is no slouch as a user and I actually prefer it due to the larger TAC handle, I do realize I am in the minority here if we took a poll on favorite user.
 
I noticed the infi rmd is popular, story of my life, everytime i find something i really like it's either discontinued or unavailable lol.
 
Don't get hung up on prices too much. Why do you want the Infidu? Will it bring you more joy to own and use than the BATAC? If you hold out will you second guess yourself? Those are some relevant questions concerning this trade. What good is the BATAC gathering dust since you really want an Infidu?
 
If the options are the same-ish (satin for satin or dcbb-your preference, g-10 for g-10 (or for Snakeskin, Tigerhide & vice versa) micarta for micarta or other handle options with a bit of cash +, you're pretty much looking at the same knife (don't take me TOO literally). Both around 3/16" thick, both around 5 inch blades, both INFI. Seriously, check the differences in the pix below. (RMD in pix is original release, SR-101, but still same profile/size as INFIdu/SWATmandu)
