I just scored a Brand new BATAC LE at the Custom knife show in NYC this weekend. I was surprised to see one there and have been looking for a CG BATAC user for a while but couldn't pass up the price on this one at the show $397:). I hate to make it a user but its awesome! Anyway I need a sheath now for it and the Busse combat company site has them in stock! My question is how are they and does anyone have any pics on these.

Thanks for any info I'm really psyched and can't wait to carry this great blade.
 
Not sure if those will fit the LE or not. The LE is quite a bit thicker blade stock with mag handles.

The blade slips in the BCS sheath but the retention snap won't make it around the Mag grips.

If that's the case, you could probably get leatherman to make you a new retention strap. I doubt the little strap would cost too much extra.

Another option is Spec Ops. Its retention strap is adjustable.

Well, since I ended up with BATAC LE #8 (thanks Ronybear!) I will need some sort of special artwork on the sheath. I am thinking about a Nuclear 8 Ball of some sort. I've got a sheath on order from Leatherman but I was drunk when I ordered it and I forget which knife it is for!! :eek:

I got mine to work fine.

I had to move the retention strap down a little to narrower part of handle and slip it through cutout in sheath. This is what slit is for and its allows for the adjustment of retainer strap

Pull yours back out and re-look. I think you will be pleasantly surprised:):)

It will work and fits perfectly:D:D:thumbup:
 
I just got an email from Scott from BCS and they will ship a keeper sized for the LE Scales with my order for the badger sheath!
