Busse Battle Mistress

Ok, I just ordered a Busse about a week ago.
It's a Busse Battle Mistress with an arctic white blade and a black/blue G10 handle.

Does anybody have pics of one similar? I'd like to know how it looks.
Also if you have different color variants please feel free to post them.
If I see some other variants I like, I might order another.

Also this is my second big knife purchase so please, give all the advice you can. Thanks.

Awesome man. I'd love to get the satin but my wife doesn't like the price difference.
What do you think is the best handle material?
I'm just getting started in the knife world, so I'm very amateur about quality knives.
Do you prefer the battle mistress above other busse?
Because I'm trying to figure out what other models I should get.
I'll definitely post pics when I get it.
I've looked everywhere and haven't seen the variation I ordered.

I reckon the best handle material for user knives is the canvas micarta. That's not to say the G10 isn't any good, the canvas just feels grippier.

I do like the Battle Mistress very much. It's one of my favourite large knives. Along with the MOAB...

You can't beat Busse when it comes to large indestructible knives. Their designs are amazing and the steel is arguably the best in the world when it comes to big choppers.

Don't overlook the other Busse Knife Group brands either - Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard. Both produce incredible value knives that are almost on par with Busse Combat when it comes to performance.
 
Thanks. Yeah I'd love a MOAB, but I guess I'll have to wait till they produce it again.
I like the bigger knives because I'm a decent size myself. I'm 6'2 so I like a blade with a lot of chopping power. I live deep in the woods, so chopping utensils are essential and I don't like lugging a chainsaw everywhere. I've been thinking about trading stuff for knives, I just don't know how to go about it properly. Plus I'm Native American so I kind of have a natural enthusiasm for knives and tomahawks. Which I just received my RMJ Shrike last week and it's more than I could ask for.

As for the MOAB....Tom I'm with you....Rob got me hooked with his awesome chopping videos with the brute....:thumbup:
 
True blue, I know you will be pleased with that knife, looks great in aaaa_cccc's post. However, just a quick warning since you are new to Busse's. It is my opinion that of all the blade coatings, the one that looks the absolute worst after use.....is white :( Just an opinion mind you and I hope this doesn't deter you from using it, because you can always send it in after a lot of use to have a satin finish put on, or have it re-coated. But, I didn't want you to be disappointed when that pretty white finish looks all beat up.

I just really wanted something I couldn't lose to easily. I did want satin, but my wife doesn't like the price tag. But I do plan on collecting further Busse and kin. I love all the photos guys, keepem coming. Thanks
 
Just curious but out of all the busse chopper/machete type styles which ones the biggest? There seem to be alot of em. Is there like a size comparison pic somewhere to show size difference?
