busse wont make me one so i will have it done myself this is a batac and benchmade rukus.
the man that made the mod was micah (americanedgess@gmail.com) and he did a great job.
there was no room for mistakes it is as smooth as the original rukus.
this makes for a busse u can always carry with u and that is great.
the edge is 4.5 inches and overall is 10 3/8.
i chose a axis lock becouse i have never had one fail.
i am a big guy so i got one of the biggest folders i could find.
there is enough handle to make a smaller knife it will just have some holes in blade.
it is perfect
micah can make one for u unless jerry wants to make one but we have been waiting for years .
take ur fav folder and make it a busse

interesting, I would have used a frame lock like from a Chris Reeve or a Strider SMF
but that's pretty nice, how does it handle? good weight and balance?

they can also pinch just closing em. :(

Framelocks are my favorite. The axis is nice but dont dare baton with it unless the blade is loose and unlocked.

Very nice!! AXIS lock is the best!!! My EDC is a 950, but the RUKUS is great too.

I've thought of trying a fixed to folding conversion like that for years, never got the nerve up to actually do it though.

So sweet. Got me to thinking about making my ss into a folder. There are some floating arrund made from an ash1 cg. Autos if I remember and pricy to build.
 
I like my Rukus just the way it is. But I also like the project, never thought of it myself but would use a strong lockback or frame- or linerlock. One good thing about the Rukus is, it allows for a fairly long blade. ;)
