Ok, I dont know much about Busses at all but I'm about to trade for a BM-E. Can anyone give me a ruff idea of what the value is on one? Just want to make sure Im doing OK on the trade. Thanks for any info.

Without knowing the condition--I'd guess around $500.00. If it's dead mint maybe $600.00. Just my opinion.

I gave $420 for mine used with the same sheath but mine was made using a zero tolerance blank so it was thin with a swedge.

I would say around $500.00 unused. They use to be more but giving the condition of the economy at the moment $500.00 is all I'd do. I have had as many as 9 ea of them so it's is a little something I am familiar with.

Thanks for the info guys. Think I'll go ahead and grab it. Maybe I can trade if for a Waki because I suuuuure want one.

Russmo, how would you compare the ergo handle to the fusion handle?

Each handle style has it's benefits. The ERGO IMO is very comfortable while in use, but if I am going to be powering through something, I'll take the FUSION. In a short, if I'm limbing or cutting kindling I like the ERGO. If cutting a lot of wood, heaver work in general, FUSION!!!

I have no desire to get into the kinetic energy, work and energy formulas and the applied science behind it. What works for me is what I said, lite chopping (ERGO), heavy chopping (FUSION). Kinda the old mass of the a-- and angle of the dangle thing.:D

Oh and UCPOPO, get-r-done Bro. The one thing I didn't mention is as far as packing a blade a long ways in the woods, then YOU CAN"T BEAT THE ERGO. # for # the most underrated BM in the Busse arena!!! Congrats on your find Bro:thumbup:

I have not had a BM-E but I love the ergo on the BA-E,fits my hand perfect.
