Basically, take a BM-E and give it a recurve (take some metal out of the center) and wallah, you got aftershock bolo :D

The first ones came with a Kenny Rowe Sheath and were priced at $425.00
It was my 1st Busse, and mine has Tan Handles, I think I'm # 11

as I Said Before, You Take A Bm-e Remove Material From The Center Of The Blade And Wallah You Have A Bolo.:D

not to be anti-bolo, but I don't see the point in reducing the width of a parfectly fine BM-E. I prefer my BM-E's thank you very much:D

A beautiful blade with great balance (very sharp too)....

Mmmm. Bolo. I miss mine, of course I never would have used it, too pretty and serial #1. One of these days I'll get another and beat it. Jimmy's would have been a good one to grab, but he got to it before I did. Oh yeah, the satin ones have a zero edge (grind) for those in the other thread who were asking about what knives had one.

The CG has a zero edge also, it's scary !!

I've got a satin SH-E with the same edge.

when I had my bme, I would have said that removing handle material would have been much more preferable, anything to throw the weight forward. I didn't like how neutral the bme was... maybe if you were to thin out the entire grind, so the metal behind the edge wasn't actually thicker because of the bolo treatment, then it would be an interesting slicer/machete rather then heavy chopper.

actually removing the rear talon a-la BA-E will do just what you want and shorten the ovferall length to FSH area with a 1 inch longer blade. Best of all worlds
