View attachment Busse Boss Street.pdfI recently acquired a slightly used Busse Boss Street with black Armorall sheath. She has been used, but not abused. I'd say 90% or better as far as condition goes. I was curious as to what value i should place on it should i elect to sell or swap her. I was told this model is no longer being produced. I found one on the net for 450 without a sheath, but it was new. I was thinking 350-400. Any useful info or experience would be appreciated. I am not new to the knife world, but this is my 1st Busse. I love the knife, but i am more of a folder kind of guy. Thx yall. Be safe and God bless.

The BOSS Street is quite possibly my favorite small Busse. Lord knows I've put mine through its paces and still reach for it and pack it regularly. $450 without a sheath is excessive. I wouldn't pay it. They sold for $227 new (+shipping) in 2010, iirc. Sheath cost what? If it's a basic leather sheath, I'd guess $60-75. So say $310 for both in new condition at cost. Yours is used, and yes, if one wants one, one must find someone willing to sell one as they are not available from Busse (with possible ganza/show/Custom Shop exceptions). Ultimately all that matters is what it's worth to you, and what it's worth to the buyer. List it at what you want and drop the price as necessary.

Here's mine shortly after I got it:

You would need to give more information about it to find the accurate value . For example, satin or coated? Choil or no Choil? Handle material?

I greatly appreciate your input.

Blade is coated, handle material looks just like the one Nandok posted. I am not sure what choil is or means.

Yeah, I did presume you had the standard Combat Grade production model with coated blade and micarta handle scales and .22" thick, and from the sounds of it you do, but like the others said a picture will get you the most accurate response. The choil is the unsharpened area between the sharpened edge and the guard/handle, if it exists. In my picture above it is small and semicircular. As far as I know, the only ones without choils are a Limited Edition called CABS or Choilless Anorexic BOSS Street. They were thinner (.150"?) and the blade was satin.

Nandok- so even if its small as in your picture its still considered a choil ? Its not choilless ?
Thanks

I have attempted to post photos from several different devices and they will not upload for some reason. As to the choil, it does have one just like the photo posted by Nandok. I greatly appreciate the input everyone, and I will post a photo if it will every allow me to do so.
