I have been doing some research on the busse boss street. I can't find any comprehensive reviews. Do you have any experience with this knife? What do you think is good and bad about it? How much will a boss street cost me? Is busse a good company to deal with? Is there anything exclusive to their knives that you like? And finally, is the boss street a good knife for EDC or survival?

P.S. How is busse supposed to be pronounced?

Thanks to those who reply!

Busse is HIGHLY regarded around these parts, and I really doubt you'll find anyone that will not recommend their blades. As for the Boss Street, unfortunately I can't comment on it yet, because mine is still in route . I think it will only arrive in 10 days or so.

Bus E is the pronunciation? Been saying it wrong for years. I even own one. A Game Warden. Haha. One of the finest knives I have.

Just buy it and you will see it. If you don't like it, you can probably turn around and sell it for more money.

Careful though ... one may not be enough.

I think it would make a good survival knife or edc. It might be a little heavy for edc imo, but it would work. I find it a little too thick for bushcraft work, but you could make it work. I think you would be happy with this knife however:)

I thought it was BUSS-ee.

Bus-E sounds French...

Isn't buss-ee the same as bus-E? I'm pronouncing them the same anyway. Bus as in the big van, E as in the letter. Is that how it's pronounced??

I've been pronouncing it wrong :D

You'll love the BOSS Street for an EDC !

Now that I can finally pronounce it, time to plunk down some cash and buy me one :D

I got one.
I can recoment it for EDC.
I carry it IWB.
Heavy knife but IMO sturdy like no other the same size.

You should take a look at the Swamp Rat subforum here they have some nice knives for pre-order, less expensive than Busse but made in the same shop & they carry the same awesome warranty.

I own a Boss Street and love it:thumbup: It makes a great EDC and last I checked they are still available from www.bussecombat.com for $227 plus shipping. You won't find a better company to deal with than Busse...from their lifetime warranty to their great customer service. You won't be dissappointed if you buy a Boss Street!
