New guy here! 
Firstly, thanks for being an awesome community! I was introduced to Busse knives by a good friend of mine almost 20 years ago. As a life long Busse collector, he taught me all about their unmatched durability and converted me into an instant fan. He’s still a dedicated HOG to this day and lurks in this forum. I eventually bought my first Busse (20th Anniversary Mean Street) in 2012 and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I never discovered the greater Busse community. I never knew what I was missing out on in the forums. With that said, I recently got the urge to get back into knife collecting and had him show me his collection again. Since then I’ve already picked up 3 more Busse knives in just a few weeks (Magnum Outlaw, Mini Mean Steet - INFI XC, and Desert Patrol).
With my renewed interest in Busse knives has also come the discovery of this group! I see a lot of talk about bourbon and whiskey within the Busse community. Two of my favorite things! I feel like the two hobbies share a lot of common aspects. Handmade, craftsmanship, attention to detail, and pure American! With that said, I’m curious if anyone knows if the fine folks at Busse, or anyone else in the community, ever do any swapping of knives for bourbon / whiskey? I live in the middle of bourbon country and work in the industry. I would love to make some friends who share the common Busse / Bourbon interest.
