Busse Bowies?

Just getting into the Busse (and kin) addiction, want to get a bowie-bladed Busse for my first sometime in the next few months, funds permitting. I have seen a BM custom made with a clip point, would it be possible to get a Team Gemini without the Light Brigade treatment and blood groove, FFG, with a sharpened straight clip? Any ballpark estimates on cost? I would have called the shop, but I understand they are very busy preppin for Knob Creek. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
 
I called them before I ordered my TGLB and trying to get a TG without the choil, and they told me it would be about $100/ per inch, with no certain timeline. Just heads up..
 
I've heard ~$100 per inch as well for customs. To my knowledge, the only way you'd get a cheap blade from the custom shop is if they have a blank already. If you want a knife built to spec, they can be pricey.
 
Oh... that's most definitely out of my price range. I will talk to the shop very soon, thanks for the heads-up!

Sorry to say that the knife in the pic is not mine :( I had the pic because i have been dreaming about getting one.

Jaxx has a pretty sweet ram horn bowie too. Maybe we can get him to post a pic of that one.
