For any of you guys that got a little yellow chiclet from me early this morning, it is not me just busting your, well you know. There is more grumbling about us and chit chat and I would rather you get a yellow, than a red or get your sale threads locked because you forgot about the rules. If we don't keep to the rules, they will continue to push for moving us to our own sale forum. I went through the first 2 pages of sale threads and gave a warning to everyone who warranted it, Busse fan or not. No one can say I was being easy on the Busse guys or hard on the non Busse guys. So if you are ticked at me, I apologize, but if it wasn't me it would be someone else.
 
glockman has been doing the same. the chat seems to have picked up again in the last week or so.
 
I think you and glockman are doing a goodjob in enforcing the rules and I have seen fair treatment throughout the for sale threads. Keep it up, it will take time but people will learn.
 
damn you progunner damn you..... lol..... seriously i deserved that i guess but it is sooooooooooo hard to not comment when someone has just sold something you have been looking for for a decent price.....lol wether i like it or you gotta enforce the rules...
 
I had a thread locked when I update it with new information........slighlty pissed about that.

It was cited as my last 2 post were too close together and I have an infraction against me........

The rules clearly state that post answering questions DOES NOT violate the 72 hour bump.........if Folks are going to be locking threads and enforcing rules, they should at least KNOW the rules!@\
 
I see plenty of folk - Busse and not - violating BTT's just for BTT sake. Then others that are playing by the rules and getting less traffic b/c of it. Let's all play fair.

But seriously, it might be time for our own forum, like it or not, BF has become a powerhouse for the Busse Co., just look at how long we shut down the forums at the last ganza! :eek:

VTW, That thread you were on, was one I regretted, I hadn't realized Glockman had already reprimanded you guys without gigging you with a chiclet. Sorry.
 
no problemo, i don't hang out there cause if i do you'll run out of chicklets in short order:thumbup: :D
 
Just wondering , what are the diff colored envelopes on the left for.

I have never paid then any attention and wonder why some are redish, some yellow some closed, some open??? Mine has an arrow pointing down on the envelope, what is that for ?

I always go by the 72 hr rule BTW. Just want to know what the envelopes mean?

Know I should know this but I don't. Fill me in please.

I don't think so, I think he just closed it because it was sold. I asked Glocker to reopen as a Sold Pending Funds, not completely sold.
If you haven't been directly contacted, don't worry about it.
 
Maybe it is because I have been using the same thread to sell my blades, but when the heck did they take it on themselves to close the threads when items are sold? I can't remember a single one of my sale threads being closed like that in the past. It makes sense I guess, it does ensure they sink to the bottom, but I guess it seems a bit hevy handed in your case WM.
 
Got a notation from two [other] mods for the same "infraction" a while back when the others first started complaing - and am #@*%$$# Proud Of It! :thumbup:

I have since watched as other knife manufacturer personas bent THE RULES without dragons breath upon them...... Never the less as I like being here I now just tend to my own row and let the others squabble.....:)

If we get our own WTS/WTT board great - they will all be stoping by our borads anyway....... And all that other stuff clogging up the borads will have its own place to go, and I will better be able to see that which is important to me....:D
 
If they do seperate us, they better let Jerry appoint the moderators for the sub forum. We might have to have weekly ganzas to bring the house down! :D (My wallet couldn't handle that.)
 
No one, as far as I can tell was warned about doing anything wrong in my thread, so worries there. I don't have a problem with it, since he figured the thread was dead anyway.

At first, I was apposed to having our own forum. But, with the recent increase in available Busse's, and the difficulty in restraining from commenting in the for sale threads when something cool comes up, it may just be a good idea.

Might be worth re-visiting that idea.

I think that due to the number of increasing models and rare pieces that a subforum would probably be a good idea. Sometimes, you just HAVE to talk about a knife that's up for sale to get a better understanding of what you're buying. I understand that the forums allows for some discussion, but not as much as we'd like! :D
