Hello everyone.....new purchasing question have trouble my mind since Busse launch their HR.

I can't seem to make up my mind between HR vs. SH

I believe HR is short in a inch, less weight, and handle is a bit different.
Generally, its very similar blade full with difference in detail.

I don't consider buying both, and I am sure I won't be disappoint in any of Busse's product. What are important needs to be noted? What made you choose one and not the other.
 
I have two Fusion Steel Hearts and will be ordering at least one Hell Razor.

No one has received their HR as of yet, and thus I have read no feedback on it. My general impression is that it is more of a fighter, although certainly suitable for other tasks.

The Fusion Steel Heart must be held and used to be believed. It is first and foremost a chopper/digger/pryer that is also razor sharp. If all you want to do is slice cheese and clean fish, this is not the knife you want, although it would do both in a pinch. I have at least one of every version of the Steel Heart and the Battle Mistress that Busse Combat has produced, and this one is the ultimate in a large knife that I will actually carry. Spec'ed at 0.25 inches, mine runs a tad thinner, which is great by me. For a user FSH I would get this one rather than the 5/16" Heavy Ordinance Grade FSH. I had five designated "users" in my Busse collection, and this one is number six.

The current Busse offering is the HR, and the FSH would have to be acquired on the secondary market. You would probably be able to find a FSH for resale before the HR's are manufacturered and shipped.

My guess is that the Hell Razor isn't burdened with any sheath but the TC sheath we have come to know and love. :)

I have to go with Mike on this one. Just holding a FSH is worth the money you'll spend on it. Total Busse! Jerry pulled all the stops out on this one. I still want one of the SHSH fer sur, but alas funds are still building for one. I'll get there! Go big or go home!:D Seriously though, the feel of a 5/16 with Mag handles is hard to put into words until you've held one.

I haven't heard anything about the HR either. Really am looking forward to the comments that well be forth coming on this serious looking knife. Totally different blade with Jerry using his new equipment on it. I just wish it would come in DC and 1/4 at least.
