Busse camp/survival knife under $300 ?

Ratweiler for the win.

oops, must be INFI? When I think of camp/survival knife, I think of something around 7 or 8"; long enough to be a decent chopper but not too heavy to carry. You can't do 7" of INFI for $300.

They a few on xxxxxxxxx

SAR5 xxxx

War Dog xxxx I've seen a used War Dog as low as $180 before.

Basic Seven xxxx

Just got to keep looking and occasionaly you could spot a good deal:)

You are not supposed to link to active auctions, that's a BF no-no.

Completed auctions are OK.

Keep an eye on the Busse / Kin for sale area. Deals do happen occasionally, but you have to be quick.

In before the slap down on gusbuster.....

I like the Badger Attack 3 for camp/hunting/do-all utility knife. Haven't priced it in a while. Figure $300ish.

Larger knives like say the Fallkniven A1 me are pretty big and heavy for a day to day camp/hunter/utility chore/skinner knife. But thats me.

I'll take it!

that's just the best looking knife on the planet. if you're selling those for 300 I'll buy 10.

If you are patient you can find a fat ash for 400$ seen a few sell recently at the price, or 450-500$ for an nmsfno, I knows say under 300 but spend the few extra bucks and you will be happy you did

Most use that knife has ever seen was that picture.

I'll take seconds.

It looked mostly new then(mid summer), and looks somewhat different now. But not by much.. What wear tho is from touching it up with sandpaper/mouse pad.

And wow really regarding the current worth:confused:? I know I've seen higher but they were flawless. Regardless they seem few and far between being for sale.

Don't limit yourself to INFI.
I know that sounds strange, but most folks here who have the Busse Bug, myself included, will recommend SR-101 from the Swamp or the Yard as having nearly all INFI's performance at a fraction of the cost, and a little more maintenance. But if you clean your blade at the end of the day and give it a bit of oil, its absolutely wonderful stuff. Some guys swear by 3V as well, but I have no experience with it and cannot give any info regarding it. Good luck finding something that works!

Agreed !!!

You might get lucky and find a Basic 9 user for not much more than $300, and it is a great all-around knife.

You could go for a Team Gemini LB strait from Busse if you save up a little more dough.
They wont charge you until it ships so if you order tomorrow you'll have several weeks to save up the difference.
