I have a growing collection of Krein knives and spend some time on his USN forum. He recently showed some pictures of a martial arts knife that he made in conjunction with a guy named James Keating, called the Crossada. In the course of the discussion, someone posted a link http://www.jamesakeating.com/MjkL.html which included a cover shot of the July 1995 issue of "Fighting Knives":

The caption for this photo mentions that the early ones were made by Jerry (later, by Bob Dozier, who trained Tom Krein). Anyone here seen one? I'm not much for this style of knife, but it looks like an interesting piece of history.

I've seen the Doziers and they are sweet, also, Black Cloud (Ernest Meyer) made them after Bob Dozier, but I had no IDEA Jerry made any.
Wow! Talk about a million dollar knife!

I haven't seen one of those.

I'm not sure how many collaborations Jerry has done, but I can think of a few. If I'm remembering right, Paul's Hatchet was designed by Jerry's Pa. Then there're the knives he did with Ron Hood. And Uncle Screwtape's Behemoth. I know there are more, but I'm not recalling what.

Wasn't there some double-edged knife his brother designed? And a knife where Jery worked with someone else who forged some INFI? Don't trust me on the last two, I'm likely misremembering the details.

IIRC, the forged INFI was done by Jerry's brother. I'd forgotten about that.
