I saw an ad in a magazine about the busse combat AK-47 sword...in researching the "INFI" material and other things, I found it rather impressive. I am one of those guys that prefers to look & touch something before I spend 500+ dollars on it.

I was wondering if their was anyone in Montana or surrounding states that has one that I might be able to look at. I was willing to drive to Idaho Falls to the manufacturing facility before I found out that it was a closed facility.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the Busse forum - there are plenty of posts there about the AK, and you may be able to hook up with someone local to check one out.

In fact...post this in the Busse sub-forum. The Hogs are a strange, wild breed. You never know what's possible.

Just buy it. If you don't like it when you get it, it will sell very easily.

Infi kid is right. if you can not find anyone in your area, just buy one and if you do not like it sell it for what you paid. You will make back your money.

18.5" Blade from tip to micarta/handle
10.5" From micarta to pommel/skull crusher
29" Overall length from tip to crusher

The weight on a Black blade, Black Canvas micarta AK-47 is approximately 1 lb 14 oz.

You wont regret it. I was curious about it also, but then I got to hold one and it sealed the deal...now I enjoy frightening the hell out of my neighbors on a daily basis!!!

Like said earlier, You can always get ALL or 99% of your money back on it.

I am kicking myself for waiting 6 months to get one.

The AK-47 was my first Busse, and like you I was a little anxious about spending almost $600 without actually holding the thing first. However, because I live in Norway handling it first wasn't an option so in the end I just placed my order.

Let's just say I'm VERY glad I did, the AK-47 is an absolute beast and I'm considering getting another before they disappear from the store. If any sword can be called practical, this is it. It can take pretty much anything and should you somehow manage to break it, it's covered by the best warranty in the business. It was made to be abused

Just go for it, you won't be sorry, and on the off chance you don't like it (yeah right  ) you won't have any trouble getting your money back.

I have a couple of these. While I have very little experience with swords in general, someone else here who is much more versed than I in such matters once said that to get a sword from someone else comparable to the AK-47, you'd have to spend at least 4k. Not that I needed that info, nor you for that matter, but they really are pretty spectacular.

ohio, that's where their made, idaho falls.... where's that?

but if you're willing to drive to boise idaho, home of the bussecompanystore's web site and brewery i would let you whack all day long (as lond as i could drink while i watched you)

welcome!!

How's this....buy it.
If you are not thrilled, I am here to say in front of the forum members that I WILL BUY IT FROM YOU AT COST (assuming of course you haven't done any damage to it!).
