So, I have been a fan of the fusion designs and am pretty saturated in that department. I never thought the strait handle mistress looked quite as nice, but the ganza has me thinking. How is feel, weight and balance compared to the various fusion brothers (broad question I know, comment on what fusion you know well). The blade is longer and a bit lighter compared to most of fusions I believe. Thoughts?

It's definitely lighter feeling, but it's marginal. The ASHBMs chop like nobody's business.

The feel weight, Balance is amazing for me. I have some ashbmle's 1 of 300 and they are awesome! They are slightly different than this ganza but the handles are the same. Best feeling handle for me. When you grab it your hand feels "locked in". I have several Fusion Handles and I find them slightly longer than needed and slightly cumbersome. I enjoy the fusion handles but I love the new straight handles for sure. I wouldn't sleep on that. my 2c.
Worst case you just sell it :)

Personal preference but I much prefer the straight handle -- locked in, as noted above. My hands aren't that large and the fusion handle never felt that comfortable or secure for me. The ASHBM LE is the nicest long knife I've ever gad. It's not a lightweight, by any means, but it feels quicker in the hand than various fusion knives, including the shorter NMFSH. Again, tastes vary but I actually scored numbers 1 and 2 of the NMFSH and sold both. Still have the ASHBM LE, however.

Personal preference here, I like the fusion handle a lot better. I got a lot of pinky bite with the ASHBM, and the overall feeling in hand was not optimal for me.
NMFBM does it for me.

Never tried the ASHBM, but I own the NMFBM. I've got medium to small size hands, it fits me perfectly.... Chops like a champ! Very comfy.
