Has anyone done a photo thread af Busses being carried or used or just being fondled by military folks who are "over there?" It seems as if there should be one. I love all the close up shots of the knives on here, but would love to see some shots with people in them too.

I recall a nice pic of a chopper crewman holding up a CG ASH-1 in front of his ride.

He looked like a satisfied customer. ;)

I do plan on taking a Tank Buster on my next Afghanistan deployment! But there are two things I have to look at! My gaining Unit's policy (I am moving to a deploying Unit soon) on carrying a fixed blade and the Military policy in country for fixed blades.

Sounds like a good choice hope it works out in your favor in getting to carry the Tb.Thankyou for your service bro take care and be safe.

Doug,

Pic's are a big NO-NO now .... in our S/F's you are automatically thrown out if you are caught taking pic's anywhere operational .... and run the same risk even if you are in them .... probably the same in the US services ....

Weird really as the last time I was over there you could'nt move for TV camera's doing documentaries ....

I am currently serving overseas and I can probably take a picture Tomm of a couple of Busses that I have over here. If I can figure out how to post them on here...

That's too bad. Seems like having photos in places like this would help keep soldiers top of mind and let them know we are thinking about them and all the great things they are doing on our behalf.

There have been some threads with quite a few pics.

Of course, I don't have links.:o

If your search diligently, you should find.

That's me in the pic with Santa. I appreciated the fact that he came all the way to the sandbox with a machine gun. I just wish he would have told me where all the naughty girls live, he's got the list you know.

And people wonder why he's "checking it twice.":)

Anyone know what the Res C covered beauty is?
I thought it might have been a Tali Whacker but where the handle goes into the sheath you can see that it's one of the Basic handles.
Mutt or B5?
