Had Busse Combat been around a couple of thousand years ago, this is what the Roman Gladius would have looked like. . . . . and our warranty would still be in effect!!!!

Let's drink mead!!!!

i like the in paw shot. not a ramp hunting knife though.

OMG, that's my dream come true, too bad no money. I like orange handles. Very, very nice! Just looking that beautiful gladius makes me want to jump on horse back yell Roma Victor... Yes, I should cut watching Scott's Gladiator...

Busse Gladius is one of the most nicest Busses I've seen so far.

100% honest response:
"Holy F*%K... that's awesome".
Then I thought that I must post something in response to the gorgeous beast and I thought what better than the first impression.

I like the coyote & black G-10 one :D

Anyone else after Busse making a 28" blade Pompeii style gladius? My thinking is it would beat any AK or SIlent Knight even the Chuckette would cower in fear of it.

Posted this back in 2008 when I was a young pig dreaming of Hogdom.

So in true Hog style, what do I win?:D

This design far outstrips the mental pic I had, nice work Jerry.

That's an incredible sword!!!! I'd KILL for that satin one! Too bad I'm missing blade yet again :( too many jobs right now. If I can get away from one I'm still on the hook for the other :p

Holy mother of... Geez, EPIC job - the satin finish version is just unbelievable. Big envy for you guys who get to see / handle them in the flesh (in the infi?).

That first one really grabs me by the throat. Speaking of which, that would take a lot of skill to handle and you'd to have to be very mindful during practice.

Kydex sheath for these?

this makes me wish I had saved my Rodent Waki money for the Gladius instead....very nice Jerry!

no more then any other long knife or sword...just dont go swirling it around your head and you wont lose an appendage.
