I was lucky enough to have Busse Combat set up at the Tri-State gun & Knife Show in Tupelo this weekend. Andre Dumouchel was attending the Shot Show so our buddy Dave Roberson was able to get him in this show. Of course, any of you that know Andy Prisco, knows that he likes having his customers smile. I appreciate Andy's support. Having Busse at a local show was a major treat for me.
I couldn't pronounce Andre's last name real well (Dumouchel) so I told everyone he was Andre Presley, Elvis's west coast cousin.
We had several people surprised to see a company the caliber of Busse Combat actually come to Tupelo. We also had several people who hadn't heard of Busse become entranced with the knives and the preformance video. Folks would pick up the knives and remark on the balance and ask about INFI. Andre became popular and was invited to a few other shows coming up in the south.
I got a chance to handle and drool over several models including two that I have on order with our pal Andy.
We had a great time talking knives and Busse with several people. We gathered a few crowds and many came back with a buddy to let them see the video and handle the knives. We also were able to tell many people about Bladeforums and this Busse forum. We invited them to log on and ask yawl about your experiences with your Busse knives.
Andre (Presley) is a cool dude and I appreciate Andy, Dave, and Jerry getting him to my area.
Thanks guys, Melvin
