The Tactical Tusk floats like a butterfly and gores like a wild boar!!!
The Tactical Tusk features a 7 1/2" Trail Point blade that is ready for the fun and excitement of camping or the trials and tribulations of the battlefield. The now legendary Tac handle provides excellent control for both chopping, slashing, or fine cutting. The weight-reducing spinal swale, directly in front of the handle, gives this knife excellent balance at the very front of the handle.

The Nuclear Handle Option is not for the faint of heart. This option is a grab bag of sorts. You will receive a randomly selected handle from a pile of Nuclear Castoffs. This pile of handles has many hand-laminated G10 and Micarta slabs as well as some solid colors not normally offered! This option does not allow you to choose your handle!!!! . . . You do not get A CHOICE! You will get whatever you get by the blind luck of the draw! It is a veritable PORKpourri of oddball handle materials!

Nobody likes whine with their bacon, so we have implemented a "No returns/No whine clause"! There are no returns on the Nuclear Option. So, you can either play it safe or you can go where only the bravest of HOGs have gone before.

I’m ready for thicker knives, that’s what got me into this..

I need a foreword heavier knife

I like LE versions , where’s the TigerHide? Where’s the snakeskin?

The nuclear option on the last batch of bowies did not produce any micarta that I saw ?

I'm surprised how often I use it for a variety of tasks. . . .

Why just the other day, I noticed that my mailbox door was sticking . . .

So, I grabbed the Tactical Tusk and a few love taps later from the skull crusher, guess what happened?

. . . No more sticky mailbox door!

A Little Lube in the mechanism or slight adjustment in the hinges May be All that's required,,,
Instead of the um, battering ram approach with the back end of a Combat Knife... 🤺

Then again, if I had a chance to swing a piece of INFI or SR101 to bash at a sticky door, maybe I would have done the same thing :cool:

Is that black or green micarta on the coated model? It looks perfectly green but I know it could be black too. Green mic and black coating is my jam and this tusker might be what I need to fill the void of regret for the JH10 I missed.

Good grief, I don't think a knife has drawn me in like this in a long time. That big sweeping blade with the skull crusher might make it the best chopper / fighter combo I can think of.

Also, can someone clarify the micarta color above? Im pretty sure that's black and that's what Im going to order because I normally go green mic. But this looks even better, like a brindle green. Jerry Busse Jerry Busse
 
I know this is out of line, but I just popped the cork and took a big whiff of JD12 (that I'll sip on tomorrow) and its got me feeling bold - any chance I can get that model blade from the pic? If not I'll just order that color combo, but hey, those who dont ask, dont get.
