I saw one of the Busse Combat/ Les Baer .45 combo at my loco gun show today, has anyone hear bought one? If so, what do you think of it? The price on it was $2650, they both were new and unused.

omg i would have bought that in a heartbeat wtf cant my gun shows have stuff like that. :(

I know one of the hogs picked one up, can't remember who. it was mentioned when the CF jackhammers popped up. might want to check the post-blade show score threads.

tinman, I think this is just a sign from above that you need to move. :D

hmnn, that seems like a real good price, not sure I could pass that one up.

did it have the rail? If so, that was an awesome price. If not, it's still better than I've seen.

I've thought long and hard about it (a local gun shop has 2 sets), but just don't want to spend that much money for a desert coated 1911. It's a good looking gun, I just prefer black or stainless.

I haven't looked at the price much on these, but that set is my HOG Grail!!!!!

I didn't know until I got home that there was an option for rail - no rail, from what I remember, it had no rail. I hear you on the color, I too wish it was black or even a matte black or grey. :(

If you figure that the LB JH is worth at least $500, that puts the LB .45 at just over $2000, with Busse grip panels that are even more rare than SnakeSkin. That's bargain pricing.

This is actually the same thing I was thinking. The price of this set is cheaper than some of his pistols without the fancy coating and Busse grips. I would like to snag one of these sets some day, it's truly a great buy.

Well, you know that the knife is going to be awesome. And the gun is also going to be top notch. They make a really nice gun.

Did you buy it?

It is the perfect PimpDucci Gun

Nope, didn't buy it, I have a Les Baer "Thunder Ranch" already that I have never used. I was thinking about seeing if the guy wanted to make a trade, but never asked. Maybe next month I'll see if he still has it.

:D

So where are the photos of that folder you got at Blade? 1911's are a dime a dozen:foot:

Agreed. It's a great pistol and a great knife. And overall a really good value. LB pistols tend to hold their value and Busse Knives can appreciate.

In all honesty, I'd prefer the standard Les Baer Blue over the tan.

Les Baer makes a nice gun, but for me, that tan color is teh ghey. I'm by no means a traditionalist, but the tan/ brown guns that are all the rage these days seems like a fad to me. It seems like the kind of gun you'll pick up in ten years and go "what was I thinking?" Love the Jackhammer, though.
