Busse combat style handle rivets

Anyone know how their handle rivets are done?

I heard that they might be brake shoe rivets -is a flaring tool involved? Where can you get the rivets and flares?

couldn't help but notice that on the linked thread, it was stated that True Grit-( for handle scales was in Ontario Can. They are in Ontario Cali. Mike
