Is the Satin Jack the only knife currently being made by Busse? I was on their website today, and that's the only knife I could find on it.

The Satin Jack TAC is the only knife currently available to be ordered, and FSHs are currently being completed and shipped.

Check out the sticky on the Busse forum here at BF for an explanation of the production protocol. Simple answer: make one knife at a time to simplify production and reduce costs, and change knife every few months.

The Company Store has several different models for sale at the moment.

A while ago Busse used to make a line called the "Basic" series. Swamp Rat is a continuation of the Basic line. Swamp Rats are excellent so I hear, but Busse is decidedly superior, in steel used, handle materials, blade finishes, etc.

IMO, INFI is better than 52100, but not by a huge margin.

I own as many Rats as I do Busses, and intend to keep on buying knives from both companies.

IIRC, the Busse Basic line were made of Mod INFI, which is more like INFI than 52100. What is similar to the Basics are the Res C handles used on some Swamp Rats, which are very comfortable.
