Busse Company store responsiveness?

Hey all.
For those who've ordered from the company store, was there any real interaction?

I placed an order, and at the final confirmation step, the website popped up with an error. I didn't get an order confirmation email. I noticed my account was charged, and emailed them to make sure the order went through OK, but haven't received a response.

Is this something to worry about, or is there typically not a lot of responsiveness?

Group experience suggests that the response will entail a box landing on your front porch 2-3 days from date of order.

Or if you're overseas, 5 to 7 days.

I have always gotten a confirmation email from the Company Store, though. Two emails, in fact: one receipt and one order confirmation email.

When Skunk is drunk or out back filleting trout with a SHSH the response gets flubbed up. If you got an order number then you successfully ordered your merchandise. Skunk is a sweet guy when he's sober but most of us didn't know him that day in 1979.

I understand that Scott is out on the river until the end of the week so you may not get an email back before Friday. Usually he has a person deal with orders while he is gone so you may see the knife before you see an email.

...But that guy might be drunk too!

I haven't had too many transactions with the Company Store, but those that I have had were all top notch. Have no fear, your money is safe with Skunk!

Yeah, no worries about Skunk. He'll do you right. The computer stuff is sometimes wonky with Busse, but the people behind the computers are great.

You should have gotten an online confirmation order #, though. Since your card was charged, you should get your order.

This may not be entirely true...

DON'T PANIC, but occasionally Verisign (the service that processes the payments for the BCS.com) doesn't always get through to the Store with the completed payment info email, which I believe triggers the receipt email and notifies the Store of the completed online order... This is pretty darn rare, but has happened to me.

You should receive 2 emails after a completed order from the same email addy (orders@bussecompanystore.com). One should be titled, "Order Comfirmation" and the other, "Busse Company Store Reciept".

DON'T WORRY! But, if you haven't received a "Busse Company Store Receipt" email, I would send another email to orders@bussecompanystore.com with the "Order ID" number from the "Order Confirmation" email included... It's fairly long, with both capitalized letters and numbers in it. Vicki can manually track down your order through Verisign with this other number if she doesn't already see it.

Example of a Verisign (Order Confirmation email) order ID number: ABCD1E2F345G
Example of a BCS.com (Busse Company Store Receipt email) order number: 1234

Either way, your order's in the system! :) ...What didja get?

EDIT: I just did a search through past BCS.com emails... My last few order have only had one email sent... they were titled "Busse Company Store Receipt"... If you got this email with a 4-digit Order Number, then YOU are GOOD to GO! :D:thumbup:

That's it, I didn't get that.

In my email, I did tell them what I had ordered and my shipping info. Hopefully they can track it down through that.

BCS will not have any problem making sure you get your order.

I have personal knowledge that your order will be processed by the first of next week however. Either way your good!

Good question, anybody know?

Boys, you have but to peruse Jaxx's thread ... a link to the Busse Company Store is right there!

It may occasionally be confusing, but I've never failed to rapidly get a knife from the Skunk. Never. :D

:o+1 no problems with my BAD. Received it quickly, nice surprise.. Not the usual "2 weeks."
