Busse Company Store Technical Problem

Yes I know its preferred if technical problems aren't brought forward here, but I also tried contacting idahoskunk and also got no reply.

Every time I try to send an email to the Busse Company Store (orders@bussecompanystore.com) I immediately get an email returned from MAILER-DAEMON@web002.mivamerchant.net which says:

"Hi. This is the qmail-send program at web002.mivamerchant.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out."

Followed by the usual tech garbage of IPs etc. Anyone know whats going on? I've love to make an order, but I'm more than a little leery ordering from an internet store which you can't actually contact prior to (or after presumably) placing your order.

His email address isn't working. Normally it's because it just doesn't exist, but I think his email address been found as a security threat or something, so it's blacklisted and blocked. (There's more than just IP garbage after the text you pasted.)

Call him up or wait till he gets back onto the forums?
 
You're correct there is, but IPs are confidential in my opinion so I left it out for my privacy and his mainly because I'm not currently running all of them down.

The phone number he lists on the site (419) 923-6471 belongs to Busse Combat unless I'm mistaken.

I guess this means I'm the only one having this problem and everyone else can contact him via email? Regardless I want to be clear this is NOT a pot shot at Busse, the company store, or anything else like that. Its just a friendly "hi I tried to contact you a couple different ways, and none of them worked so I thought I'd try this."
 
Hm, you're right, that number is Busse Combat's, not the Company Store's.

I think you've got no way around this one unless you can find someone who can contact him directly... he's not on the forums that much, and if his email has been blacklisted without him knowing, someone needs to tell him. He's probably too drunk to realize he's not getting any orders suddenly :thumbup:
 
I'm not sure if his other email is working either. Same message.

yes, we are here, and still shipping orders. a week ago for some reason there's a "black List" or something, like carling black label beer.

I got in touch with idahoskunk (he runs the store) He's aware of the problem and is working to resolve it with the service that processes the orders. Orders are still going through to him and he's shipping knives. Apparently, it's just the email addy that has the issue and it's attached to the order processing service.

Hopefully he'll post here soon. :thumbup:

Just because my email host ended up on a black list doesn't mean i'm voting for obama!:eek::eek:

Actually your email ending up on a blacklist would suggest you've voting AGAINST Obama. ;) Picking one this year is selecting the lesser of two weasels but lets try and keep the politics out of this though because the worst thing we can do is all get pissed at each other over. :D

Did I get the email right? skunk@qwest.net? I also tried skunk@lindfsqwest.net and that immediately bounced. I guess one day's wait is a bit hasty and needy to sort of expect a response, but after the fuss over this I guess I thought well........ I guess I kinda thought I'd get a more or less immediate reply. Did I just stupidly misinterpret what this means:

we might be able to answer here. If it is listed, it is in stock, and he is nowhere near the shop so he doesn't do custom mods there.
