There's a heck of a long waiting period for specially designed customs. . . . a bit over 5 years right now. . . . Sometimes though, I get drunk and stumble into the grinding room and grind out a bunch of custom GFDs. . . . That can be interesting!

Longbaugh, Have you ever heard of the Basic series of knives. I believe they are insulated, but I don't know for sure? They are an out of production like of knives with a rubber like compound on the handle, but it's much tougher, stronger, and resistant. Also, have you looked at Swamp Rat knives (I REALLY hate to mention them because we've got a rivalry, but only because of the stinkin' rats.) They aren't INFI, but they are as tough as non-INFI knife can be.Longbaugh said:doing through-tang knives? I've got some things I'd like to get done in INFI but I have requirements for electrically-insulated grips.
3 MD blades?!?!?!?Longbaugh said:Anyhoo... I'm sort of a new convert to INFI. I made the acquaintance recently of a fellow who let me pretty much destroy half of a Chevette and probably two dozen cinder blocks with his straight-handled BM, so I'm sold on whatever metallurgy and human sacrifices go into conjuring that stuff. I've broken three MD blades so far, so I'm looking to trade up.
