Hey folks

I have a custom knife design (not one of busses designs) which I would like commissioned by busse.

I'm not sure if this is possible, does busse-custom only make knives which they have sold in the past or will they make any knife shape you ask for?

I have emailed them, but only yesterday so still waiting for a reply.

They will only make variants on their own designs.

That's a shame

When you say variants, could they make me a flying mojo except with a handle from a tglb. I don't like finger grooves unless the handle is custom sized ( which may be an option?)

Your best bet is to call the shop and ask for Garth, i do think a Flying Mojo with a TGLB handle is out of the question but he might be able to work with you on something else that will fit your needs. What about a flying NMSFNO :D ....... I know i want one.

E-mail Garth, with Christmas just being this past week they were all probably in and out of the shop

True Custom shop knives, in the past, usually run $100 an inch, or so has been posted before. With as busy as they are now, I'm not sure if they would accept your order but I'm not Garth and that's his call. Also, the wait......it'll be longer than 2 weeks, by many, many weeks

Cool have you got Garth's email address, or anyone else senior at the company?

I'm in no rush, just planning ahead. I'm in the process of commissioning a prototype of the design I have in mind, which won't be ready for another 3-4 months (Iv chosen one of the best makers in the uk, unfortunately he doesn't stock INFI steel, haha)
