SOLD Double Cut Meaner Street for sale / trade:
Here's the story on this knife's condition: A MS proto came to me in trade w/2 Leatherman sheaths... I got to playing w/them and figured what the heck - let's see if we can transform one into a Meaner sheath. I wittled around the opening and soaked it in warm water and it fits pretty well. It's toatlly secure for belt carry, it just lacks the profound "snap" of most of Dwayne's sheaths. I did make a mistake however in thinking that the leather was totally dry after 2 days and left the knife sheathed for another 2 days -- and discovered some very small spots, presumably rust spots on one side of the blade (see close up pics.) They're extremely small and not noticeable until you do a really close inspection of the knife. I also lightly sharpened the knife on a Sharpmaker. I know I'm probably making it sound like there's something wrong with the the knife - - but I want to be as thorough as possible in my description. The knife is in really great shape, but it's not totally mint. If you're looking for a user, this is almost perfect. But if you need a safe queen, it may not be for you...
I'd sell it for $360 w/o the sheath or $380 with the sheath, + $10 for priority/insured shipping, i'll split the paypal fees. CONUS please. MO fine too.
