Hey Im pretty new to the art of sharpening and re-profiling blades. I am leaving my large blades as they came from Busse/Swamp Rat because they are just choppers.
But I would like to get a real sharp edge on my TGLB and Ratmandu cg.. but without making the edge delicate, I will still be putting them through some rough use.
what angle would you guys with experience recommend I put on my TGLB an Ratmandu as a good all round tough yet sharp edge..??
Thanks so much for the help! :)

Enjoy. Look for the trig equation for estimating your edge angle. I wrote that one down somewhere......

40 inclusive(20dps) is good even for the large choppers.

I want to add when I got my NMFBM, the unsharpened edge chipped. After the sharpening (lower angle as I like sharp) it now doesn't chip. It chops much better with a lower angle.

On a TGLB, i would go as 20 or probably 15 or 17 haha
