Busse emblem Question

I am wondering if the Busse emblem on my satin Gw is laser engraved or what. Over the past couple weeks Ive been beating her up pretty good and the finish was messed up so I took a Scotchbrite pad and gave her a good scrubbing down. Now the finish is more brushed than satin which I like but the emblem seems to have faded a bit. I dont mind this but want to know if its engraved a bit and will still be there when the paint is gone. Ill try and get a pic but I dont have much luck with getting lighting right.Thanx

I have had some that completely faded after a few runs with the scotch brite. I like mine so am trying to be careful with future models. Not a real big deal though.
 
Those are good questions to send to the shop. Either to Garth or Jerry. I am thinking that the answer is yest but I could be wrong.
 
I wonder if the HOG edition ASH-1's will have the HOG names laser etched, or just on the coating? Will they wear off after the coating gets roughed up? I usually remove the coating after it gets bad enough, ya know?

the logos are engraved with the fossilized tooth of a prehistoric swine ancestor.

they dont like to recoat blades. they will refinish them (satin or dc), i dont know about the logo, though.
 
On my FFBM the engraving was through the coating and into the blade. I can only assume the others are this way too. When I re-profiled a .220 game warden the logo came off but I'm not too worried about it.
