Busse Finishes/Coatings?

My BJ has a DC finish and my Regulator has the black coating. I can't speak for the BJ yet because it is in the mail but I'm not fond of the texturing on the Deregulator. It's not the end of the world but I prefer a smoother finish which is why I went with the DC for the BJ.

Are all the colors within coatings the same texture or are some smoother than others? Is there any other finishes aside from Satin or DC?

The knife I'll be ordering is the TG currently being offered.

The green coating and the grey coating are smoother. Not flat smooth but smoother. The black sage and muddy have more of a texture to them.

I noticed my regulators black coating smooths out nicely when I use it to destruct a kumquat tree. I think they are made to do that.

edit: made to smooth out not destruct (is that a word?)

Thanks for the info. I'll either go with the tanker grey or the DC depending on the additional cost for the TGLBS
