If you have a new unused busse and it has a small defect on it's edge will busse repair it for free?

the way i understand it . yessir. prob just have to email jerry or amy. pretty sure the edge is under the lifetime gurantee.

Well a life time guarantee on a knife excluding the edge, would be kinda silly. :D

Yes, its covered. Just about everything/anything is covered unless its obviously intentional and the guarantee is transferable from owner to owner.

Yes. I can tell you, from experience, that Busse will repair or replace defects for free.

What Einstein grinded that thing Blade Master? That looks AWFUL bro. Especially when he purchased something in the exchange that said, MINT. I can repost the thread if need be- Farthest thing from mint you can get bro. Should have been sold as "blade has been mauled and reprofiled by someone who doesnt know what their doing with a grinder." The edge is messed up because either you or someone else-dunno- tried to grind it away completely. Theres no edge left to sharpen the blade even on one side it is such a botch job. I am just the friend- but hate to see my good buddy get ripped off. you cant charge close to full price for something that was a grinding project for someone. Why in the world someone would try to do anything to a beautiful custom Busse is beyond me bro. These guys know what there doing and have been very successful. People should really stop thinking they can quit their day job. It wasnt damaged from abuse, so I do not see how Busse would fix this for free as per the warranty-nor would I even expect them to for the record. They would look at it in 5 seconds and say the same thing we did- what idiot mauled this beautiful blade and here is your large bill to fix blade itself and the other issues. Thats kinda not what he was thinking when he purchased a blade labeled as mint. The chi imports are the blades to be used for grinding projects- not a beautiful custom shop SFNO. How can you say that you didnt see it and you overlooked it bro? It is beyond the scope of +75 IQ to comprehend that someone tried grinding-one side of the blade-in addition to a few other issues making this thing a lemon so far. Let me ask you the million dollar question- Why couldn't you send it into Busse before when you owned it? Why would you think it was alright to dump this onto someone on the exchange. Did you really think someone was going to be happy about spending A LOT on a custom shop sfno only to find out that the blade has been grinded away on one side to the point where it is not even on both sides by a large amount.

Cr33 ask knife hunter I bought it from him mint just like you see it for $775...

And you are overreacting big time. It is a grind error from Busse. No one tried to re profile it.

CR33, it sounds to me like you should just stay out of it, instead of attacking the seller of that knife. TheBladeMaster seems to be satisfied with the advice provided, and I am sure that Busse will take care of him, so you can just sit back and be quiet.

You are so full of it bro. Grind error. You can call me a lot of things-just don't call me stupid. The blade is so far from MINT and yet you have the gaul and audacity to list it as mint. Funny, you purchased from KH- and yet you only kept it for 3 months. My buddy came to me, and I even told him, just ask if it has any scratches, has it ever been resharpened, and any heavy use etc. Is there anything wrong with the blade? He has the emails bro- and you state it is a freaking safe queen. Thats usually lingo for.... this blade has never seen a day of pure sunlight-dirt-debris or anything. It lives a cold existence-protected in the SAFE! The blade is nowhere near mint and the actual profile and geometry of the blade is changed in a very unprofessional way. If you asked 20-30% off, then maybe you have a case.... but the fact that you listed as MINT and charged a lot of money- for a defective blade. How would you feel- all excited... waiting to get a blade in the mail- only to find that this blade is not what you ordered- its actually damaged. The seller tells you after collect 635 dollars, oh, you might have to send it in to Busse. Dude- do you hear what your saying. Anyone would be pissed off after getting duped. You would be- Was that exactly how you received from KH? Not sure why you even keep bringing him up- he is the seller before you. Youve had it for 3 months right? Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Who asked you too? My friend got ripped off. If I showed you pics- you wouldnt disagree. I am actually trying to stay out, thats why I havnt posted my own thread.... havnt gone to good-nad-ugly- havnt gone to the EXTREME- yet

Hey resinguy, would you like to purchase the sfno I got from blademaster?
I would be more than happy to sell it to you for what I paid for it.
this way when you get it, you can send it in and wait for them to fix it if they can...
Who wants to buy a knife here and then send it in to get fixed?

Cr33 from what I recall you are the biggest drama queen on blade forums, remeber this
Probably not going to get anything now because of Jerry_Busse. I am so pissed-words cannot convey my feelings. Didnt fall for the others, but I really wanted one of the BWM's or NMSFNO's and knew it was going to be competative... and it looked real enough. Yeah, I know I should have looked for Moderator etc. But if I did that, I wasnt going to be one of the first people to get a BWM, etc. now I have absolutely zero chance on anything. REDICULOUS. You know who you are.... dude, are you really serious. You better be in high school- otherwise, you have no excuse!! 100% loosers and you probably never seen a good looking girl in your life. Really immature by guys that are "Supposed" hunters, knife collecters, craftsman, professional dealers, etc. BS!

That was from the recent Cupid ganzaa.

I payed $775 and lost over $100 on this knife it was stored in a safe and never taken out till it was packaged and shipped.

I would take resins advice and stay the he'll out of this.

ENOUGH.

Let Busse take a look at it. If it was a reprofiling screw up, then they will inform the current owner, who can take it up with the Seller...AS NO DEAL IS COMPLETE UNTIL BOTH SIDES ARE SATISFIED.

CR33 I don't know the specifics here, but I am asking you to stand down, please.

Ir's gonna be a loooong night... :grumpy:

xBORISx, if you are unsatisfied with the knife, demand a reversal on the deal based on misinformation or lack of accurate info and ship the knife back to the Seller. Get your money back, return the knife.

This is turning into a GB&U matter and I think that this thread needs to be moved or locked...

Thank you jaxx. This thread started as me trying to help out and fix a situation.

Don't thank me yet. If you are the Seller, you are still on the hook for this deal. I strongly suggest that you & xBORISx start communicating and resolve this issue. I don't care how you received the knife from the previous Seller...that is an issue between you and him. But, if you sold the knife as MINT, xBORISx has a legitimate complaint.

Again... THE DEAL IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL BOTH PARTIES ARE SATISFIED. Check the Exchange rules and you WILL see this listed there as well.

xBORISx, IF YOU are not satisfied, ask to reverse the deal and prepare to return the knife for a refund. If no agreement, start a thread in the GB&U on this issue and be prepared to state your case along with any pix and correspondence.

Both of you WORK THIS OUT, please.

I looked at the sale thread. Now that I have a better understanding of what is going on, here's a suggestion.

Without asking for bigger pix, it seems as if the pile side edge can be fixed by my very UN-expert opinion. I cannot tell if it has been re-profiled/re-ground/re-sharpened and that call is best left to Busse.

I would suggest sending it in to see what can be done if the Buyer wants to keep the knife. Other than that, I would suggest a deal reversal with no hard feelings and move on.

Any further threads on this issue concerning the deal should be posted in the GB&U.
