Busse folder ~ any pics?

I know, I came into the world of Busse a little late (for my liking) and there has probably been numerous threads on the above subject, but;

Have we any pics of this 'super beast' as yet? Even infi info would be appreciated!

Fill me in brothers! Before I do something stupid and order a strider!

No pics as of yet. We are all anxiously awaiting the release of some pics and especially the folder itself. ;):D:D

There has been a lot of speculation regarding this topic, however, none of it by anyone really in the know.

This is the most concrete thing we've heard. A couple of months ago Jerry said they are purchasing some new equipment and some of it will be earmarked for "Folder only" duty. Here's the thread http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=178526&highlight=folder

I said it then and I'll say it again. All we really know is that it will most likely Fold ;):D:D

What are you guys talking about?! I have had my folder for months now, Jerry sent me the proto type. I will get pics posted ASAP.

Look, I told you guys before, Jerry & Company were, with the use of serious heay duty hydraulic equipment, able to get a Busse knife to fold. Now, as you can well imagine, the challenge is figuring out how to get it to fold back again.

Remember, even if they are successful, the repeatability of this exercise will be the more difficult task.

What are you guys talking about!?!? That knife is an outstanding piece of cutlery, a fine cutting tool, a true work of art :eek: . Any of you would be proud to own it :barf: :mad: :rolleyes: . You guys... I don't know...

Chris, I have no idea about the back-ground, I just found the crappiest knife I could ;) .
 
On a serious note...I remember that Andy Prisco (Sharper Instinct) was taking names for a waiting list for the folder. Now I guess he is no longer associated with Busse. Is there still a waiting list with Jerry directly, or what?
Jerry, you should put me near the top of the list since I was one of the first to put my name on Prisco's list!!!
 
I did and spoke to Jerry. I must say, he is a genuinely nice guy! It looks like there are about 800 people on the waiting list for the folder!! From the way Jerry described it though, it will be well worth the wait.
 
He didn't give away too much information really. He did mention the dedicated equipment for the folder. He mentioned that the prototype had a very smooth action and a very strong lock-up. He wouldn't say exactly when it would be available, since there are still some production issues that are being ironed out.
 
i know all about the folder from Busse; i have all the information.
However, i regret to inform you that i cannot inform you of any of what i know: you will NEVER *pry* it out of me! No, NeVeR!
i don't *fold* under pressure; just like..... oops (premature information leak)
