You all think about it, what do you have in your mind how it should look like? or should be?

I have thought a bit. I think Meaner street blade feel and look is what i would expect. Strongest lock system might be frame lock. But in order to keep Busse Folder authentic, The Micarta material can't be use as frame lock i think.

It is possible to sandwitch the Meaner Street blade between 2 piece of Infi frame and have the micarta handle on top of the handle frame. This way will force Busse to create a very strong Liner Lock in Infi handle frame. This way, we will have a Busse Meaner Street version of Busse folder :D

Noted: The MS handles has to be a bit longer to contain the blade.

Not sure if you guys can imagine what i am talking about with my poor english describtion. I think this thread can either goes to doom, no one reply or a lot of creative possible sugguestion.

Noted: The illustration are directly traced from MS blade image from Bad Mojo. The blade shape and size did not change at all. I made the handle longer to contain the blade. After I design and modify it......i think MSF handle might be thick to keep micarta on!

The Busse folder features a new patented lock mechanism.

There was a recent thread that linked to the patent, with drawings.

-of course the shape of the handle and blade in the patent drawings are probably just generic and not like the finished product.

Still under wraps. . .
 
this is pretty intresting ! you can insert a screw wich further aids the lock making it more of a fixed blade!! :)

"shown in FIGS. 4 through 6, a screw is provided for receipt within a bore in handle member and in a threaded bore within handle member for further absolute locking of blade in the extended position, when knife is to be used as a fixed-blade knife, such as if knife is to be attached to a shaft, stick, or the like in order to form a spear or javelin. When not in use, screw can be stored in a compartment (not shown) in handle ."

Of course, that was over three years ago in CA. Who knows what Jerry has come up with since then. ;)
