Given how most of us use our Busse Combat knives, isn't Woodcraft more applicable? It describes hunting, fishing, and camping. I view Bushcraft more along the lines of SHTF situations.

And how about Witchcraft? I am sure that there is somehow a use for INFI...

I dunno. My wine bottle just became empty. Again...

there is a definate difference between shtf, bushcraft and witchcraft blades....

for shtf scenerios, a few of the mid sized to maybe the larger sized blades come to mind...

for bushcraft, some of the shorter to maybe midsized blades come to mind...

for witchcraft, otherwise known as mother-in-law craft, any type of sharp, daggar, nail, blunt object, projectile, any funkin' thang too keep the behatch away will work....

Whenever I think of Bushcraft I think of the awful movie Southern Comfort for some reason. I see that as a bushcraft situation.

When I hear the term, my thoughts wander to a nice woman I once knew. :)

When I was a kid the books called it campcraft. Don't know when all this bushcraft stuff came in.

I wanna Busse Athame!!! :D

:D that made me laugh a little.

For SHTF situation i'd be after something along the lines of an AK, Ruck, War Boar or Nuke AA. You know some sort of zombie deanimator.

As for all other scenarios a BM, AD and anything like an ASH, HR, SFNO would do I reckon.

As for Bushcraft and where it originated I knew about Les Higgins and Ray Mears but not Mors Kochanski. Seems these guys are most responsible for the current trend.

To me, woodcraft sounds more like working in a shop and bush craft would be more like being out in the woods. For witch craft maybe a khukuri would work being its such a wicked blade.

To me the word wood brings to mind lumber and woods make me think forest so woodcraft means crafting with wood, but that's my opinion and like they say opinions are like belly buttons everybody has one. Now bush makes me think down under but that's a whole different story! :D
