One of the rules states that you cannot make negative remarks in other people's sales threads. To me this seems negative. If it were in one of my sales threads, it would make me unhappy.

Added: Not everyone owns a digitial camera. requests for pictures and the like are best done via email.
BTW.... I didn't say anything about offensive... I just said negative. I don't like people joking in my for sale threads. I want to sell the knives, not talk about why my thread is worthless. Just my .02
 
I think the rule was made to stop people from rolling into a thread and saying things like "Busse, those are knives for turd-burgalars - now Tan Wang - them's some knives for real knife experts!". I think that dude just wanted to see pictures. True he could have phrased it better, but it really wasn't THAT negative (in the "could affect sales" sense).

If someone is interested I can have the wife take pictures and send from her e mail. I don't know how to do them and neither of us knows how to post them.
 
My intention was not to offend anyone and definately not to hurt a sale..

"this thread is worthless without pictures" is a very common phrase used in a lot of forums, as a matter of fact the phrase is constructed with a series of icons and available for use when you post in some forums.. I will try and hunt one down and post it here although It may take some time because I am not that computer savvy... I sincerely apologize to whomever was offended, if anyone actually was..
