Busse Gladius future production?

I'm pretty new to Busse (own 3 Busse/Kin - hopefully a couple more if I get a Ganza email!!!). I really like the CG Gladius but can't afford to get one on the secondary market - do you think Busse will come out with a variant or similar model in the future? I might be able to get one from the custom shop, but I'm not really looking for a satin finish on it and think it would be considerably more....I've currently got a Rucki and like that style also, but I just find the Gladius to be more personally appealing.

The Custom Shop can also do a CG for you if they have the blanks. ;)
I'd shoot Garth (garth@bussecombat.com) an email and check.

Keep watching the Exchange too. I got a great deal on a Bruiser Gladius a while back. :thumbup:

Thanks - so the custom shop will (potentially) have cg and satin blanks? If so that's definitely something I'll check out. I cruise the exchange a lot too. Some great deals on there - I picked up my SJTAC, ASHBM and Rucki there.

Blanks are blanks, it's what you do with the blanks that make them satin, CG, BIG, DC, etc..
 
The last time I talked to Garth he said the custom shop was only doing satin finish. It may be different now.

Watch the exchange for a deal.

You can also go to Knob Creek or Blade Show. They seem to always have a few Gladius there.
 
I asked recently as well, only Satin. You can get the CG of you really want it but your paying the satin version price.
 
Hey thanks guys, appreciate the info. I saw on the Busse collectors site the original price was in the $500-600 range for CG - wish I'd known then! Maybe they'll put one out for a ganza or something or maybe one day I'll make it to a show. I've never been to one of the large knife shows... my wallet is probably grateful! :-D
