Busse grips on a GSG 1911??

So, I'm brand new to the 1911 game. I wanted to try one out and decided to try the GSG first. I may or may not have wanted the 1911 more to justify some Busse grips

Has anyone put Busse grips on a GSG 1911? I know I've read many regular 1911 parts will work but thought I would check here first.

Post some pics if you have them.

the gsg takes standard 1911 grips as long as the are cut for an ambidexterous safety.

Tthe Busse grips I have seen have NOT been ambi cut, but a dremel could fix that pretty easily

Ah ok thanks. I wonder if they have ever done any for an ambi safety?

Nope, never done for an ambi or for a bobtail.

All the grips that have been put on 1911s with those features have been custom cut by the owners

All the 1911 grips we have done so far have been standard, full size. Maybe someday we will have time to offer more.
