I've always been a knife nut but have yet to take the plunge into "Busseism" i think the time is near. I'm looking for a blade in the 4-6 inch range with a nice handle. I like the choil idea too. Something more on the work end (it doesn't have to be pretty). Any suggestions (Solicitations for sales are to be kept in the appropriate forum, thanks):).

Sorry if this should be started somewhere else.

im considering the badger thats displayed on the busse site. but any other suggestions would be great.

Order yoself a badger from the Busse website and then wait for a few weeks. Sounds like the "BATAC" will fit your needs nicely.

Welcome, jarlaxle! :D

The BA-Tac would be a good choice. Great size, original price.

Look around on the sale forum, though. There's many fine Busse choices that pop up there, and you may want something sooner than you can get the new Badger.

Asking for suggestions is fine, soliciting an offer is not. I concur that the BATAC is probably your best bet and value for the money. You can order them now for no mark up, just a wait.

Badger, badger, badger. Great starter blade. Perfect all around size:thumbup:

Welcome!! I would suggest a Badger E or a new BATAC:thumbup:

Badger E's are BAD. JUST BAD! Trust me, you don't want one of those. If you're unlucky enough to get one of these, do yourself a favor and just box it up and send it to me ;) Honestly, I would say your best bet right now would be to place an order for a BATAC because you can pick the color options you want and get it at factory price, instead of the marked up secondary market. Should only take about "2 weeks" to get it in :D

I could be mistaken but I think the wait is several weeks on the new Badgers. Worth the wait for sure but you might call to ask about the time frame. They are very helpful over at Busse.

batac is my advice. and yes, you will have to wait, probably 3-4 months, but it will be worth it.

ba-e is also a good choice, if you can find one.

the two on the bottom right are ba-e's

nice. whats the second one down on the right

that is the natural outlaw - ergo. same line, the 'ergo' designation is the handle type.

largest to smallest:

battle mistress ergo
steel heart ergo
natural outlaw ergo
badger attack ergo

i think gravel or aaron has a pic of all the ergos next to each other. im waiting on my mistress and dont have the sh.

Nice knives Morimotom. Are outlaws easy to find, i really like the looks of that one

notsomuch. :D

mistresses seem to come up for sale/trade the most often. outlaws and badgers are normally held with the deathgrip!!!!
