Ok, after doing a lot of reading about the INFI steel, I am considering paying the money for a Busse. The problem is I don't have a clue what model I am looking for, and how to go about purchasing one. I am looking for something with about a 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 inch blade. Preferably drop point and at least a 1/8 inch thick. Does such a model exist? And when will they be produced again? What about price? Thanks for the patience.

How about a 5 inch drop point at .187? This is the current knife, the Badger, available from the shop. Well, "available" as soon as they start shipping (I think we are expecting early April?). $227
Or, you can get the LE, at .25 thick! at $397.

Other than that, you can try out the WTB forums looking for older models.

Good advice above...

Otherwise... It's the DABA-Desert Anorexic Badger Attack, out of production, somewhat pricey (>$400.00) and hard to come by, right Gravelface? :D

I am looking for something more like a Becker Necker or Rat 3. This type of blade fits my style more and will be used daily. What about the "Game Warden". How big are they and will they be offered again? Thanks

Welcome to the forums! The game wardens were sold through the company store. (Bussecompanystore.com) They were sold each model at a time. A few hundred knives would sell out completely in under 20 minutes. There are around 17 different models, give or take. They come up for sale often in the Sale Forums here on Bladeforums. They are an AWESOME little knife. I'm not sure if we will see anymore come up at the company store. Only Jerry or Skunk knows. (IdahoSkunk runs the companystore). Most GW's sold for somewhere between 200 ~ 240. Give or take. (excluding the custom shop ones)
Like the others said, The Badge Attack TAC is selling on the main site (Bussecombat.com). It's good to get them from the shop so you don't pay a heavier price on the second market. Hope that helps!

Tony G's collection of Game Wardens!!

Try the Muddy Skeleton Warden or the Black Skeleton Warden. I have the black and love it. The handle is more comfortable than the Becker Necker, IMO. You see them around $190-210, but on occasion they come up cheaper. Got mine for $160...thanks again JDunks:thumbup: :D

Note the Game Warden blade is 3", a little less than you said you're looking for. But they do fit the hand very well! A skelly is nice if you're comfortable with a thin handle or can either wrap it yourself or add some scales.

Definitely sounds like a Game Warden is the closest to what you are looking for. Blade length is only 3 inches, but it has a lot of belly, giving it a longer effective edge. Blade thickness should be perfect for what you are looking for. They have come in many different varieties, including skeletons and with scales of varying sizes and materials.

Check out the Company Store site below and it will give some pics and specs. You have to wait until they have more in stock. Watch this forum and you'll usually get a heads up. Watch everything posted by Idahoskunk, he runs the store.

The other option is picking one up on the exchange for a little more than the original selling price. That's the only way to get one of the versions previously produced.

Welcome to the world of INFI! Be sure to check also the exchange here. Maybe you can find there what you're looking for:thumbup:

Welcome troutfisher! As another new Piglet to the Busse world I can tell you that you won't be sorry if you choose to buy some Infi. And if you turn on your email capability in your user profile you might find some folks willing to help you in the acquisition process.:)
