Okay ,I purchased a Hell razor a while back and found out for my taste the HR did not fit the bill for me,so I picked up a Natural outlaw...it looks to be a better fit for me as a outdoor user. being I am a Newbie at the Busse blades, what are your thoughts on the NO e ?

I have had both. The HR is long gone and the NO-e is still here and always will be. It's my favorite, but I know everyone is different. Also, I know a lot of folks like to compare the SFNO to the HR. Well, my SFNO is still here too. IMO, it is much better than the HR, at least for me. That is not to say that the HR is not a great knife; only that its looks and feel in hand are not my cup of tea.

Ok I don't have the SFNO yet....its coming.:D

But my HR's are bad to the bone.

Stick a pencil/pin etc in front talon hole and watch it hang upside down perfectly balanced.

It's great ..hold back on handle and it's blade heavy for better chopping.

Hold in center with finger in choil and its perfectly balanced.

Choke up and run thumb up spine and you can write your name with it on any animal.

Plus the name says it all....

Hell's Razor

IMO

Now what do you think?

I love my HR. I really like the thinness of the HR and like knifehunter said its balance is great. I don't have a NOe though. I prefer 3/16" blades.

I love the looks of the NO , and looks to be a great user..the HR was a great blade but to me it did not have the feel of a camp blade or I could not use it for that,I will let Lazlo do that for me....But the natural outlaw will be a user for sure..

TTD, I agree as far as a real real camp knife, but with the warranty there's no reason why not.

It's more likey what you grab when things go bump in the dark...

Off sets the .45 Sig in my right hand perfectly:eek::D:thumbup:

NO-e is a sweet blade!

The HR is no slouch either --- boild down to which handle suits you best, and whether you NEED 1/4"...

They're both awesome.

The HR is a great blade but to me it felt like to much of a fighter style blade vs. I wanted more of a field/camp blade as why I dealt the HR ... and pick up an NO e.

You guys know how much I like the Badgers. The NO-E is one of the only knives in that size class that I would possibly trade my SE for. It is just an awesome knife.

NO-es are to me more of a usable camp utility blade. And FAT enough to carry the day:)

Himmm I do need another one!:D

I couldn't get myself to like the SJTAC or HR better than my NO-E. I've since reshaped the handles to take out some of the blockiness but it's my favorite do-it-all knife.
