Some nice stuff there, all you piglets! It's a good thing that I had no budget for toys, because there was plenty that would have tempted me otherwise.
CG ASHBM - at least 4 were available. This is the one that I really wanted to see and handle. It has allayed my concerns about the feel of the handle, as it was not too fat, and didn't have that 'golf ball in the palm' thing going on. Definitely a chopper, the balance point was about 1" in front of the scales. I need to sell some stuff now, and start haunting the Exchange for a user.
LBTG. Can't recall if I have handled one before. The center palm swell actually felt fatter and more obtrusive than the one on the ASHBM, but one could sand it down if need be. Since I have an SFNO and a Ratweiler, and will get a Basic 8 if Jerry ever actually releases it, this is a blade I could pass up, but it did feel nice.
Elmax Steak Knives, in 3.5 and 4 inch. Nice! especially the shorter one. I probably should have bought both and flipped them on the Exchange.
Anni Mean Street CG. I can see why some folks wanted liners on these; the handle is on the thin side. Tempting, with the thin blade, but the edge just behind the primary grind is pretty thick, and that would push me toward the steak knife instead.
Anni MoJo. Felt good in the hand, but not my thing, with the hook and the pointy pommel. Funny, but it looked small next to the AA.
CG Argonne Assualt. Also not my thing, but it was a revelation to hold. Much lighter and quicker in the hand that you might think to look at it.
Let's see, what else? RMD (kinda miss mine); RMDeux, or Rodent 6? too thick; Rodent 3, stout little thing; KDSH, I like mine; KDSH with hammer poll, what can you hammer with that skinny thing?; Scrapper 5; Rodent 9; Rodent Solution.
Of course these might all have been sold by the time you get there tomorrow.
But even if they are, you will still be able to pass the time shooting the s**t with Uncle Hammie, worth the price of admission alone, even if it was $9.
