Gonna try to be there for part of it but gotta leave from work to go to NOLA for wifes surgery.

It's been a good run. Made a couple of good friends, bunch of acquaintances and introduced a whole bunch of regular buyers to Busse. It was always good to see the old Hogs and what they would pull out of their bags. People enjoyed being able to feel a blade before buying. Sometimes they found that the knife they really wanted didn't fit their hand so they ended up with a different one.
There's a lot of good memories over the past 13+ years that will stay with me
Oh well, life goes on.

Bob

What do you plan to change of your business model sir?

My guess is that with Busse having ramped up production with the new, regular offerings, they have chosen to discontinue their relationship with the sole remaining outside retailer. Or it could just as well have been a mutually agreed decision.

I'm just sorry that I won't be able to see Mike one more time to schmooze and hang out by the table to meet folk.

I haven't been in quite a while. It's a shame it's the last one. I guess I'll be taking a road trip.

somebody needs to elaborate. Seriously.

dealer program.

This is not to say it might not be brought back at a later time, but for now is discontinued.

Yes, I too will miss the schmoozin with hogs, old and new. A lot of good people.

I'll definitely be there. I was absolutely shocked when I saw busse kin knives among the Chinese crap knives in October. I even got to handle the rucki and waki. Look forward to buying Busse kin blades from you.

Mike has done an amazing job! For all of you HOGs who have met him, you know first hand what a great guy he is and why we are so proud to call him our friend.

Try to plan on getting out to see Mike at this show.

Let's drink!

Mike,

Would love to be there but a little under the weather this weekend.

Thanks for the knives over the years and the good discussion.

Take care and hope to see you sometime in the future.

I gotta say this has me po'd. I would love to go to a blade show but cant justify the cost and time. I could justify the 4 hours road time and time at the show in Columbus. As close to Busse's back yard as it gets for a show.
Thanks for the talks and busse education Mike. I need a pep talk. Feeling screwed over by busse.

Mike,

I've enjoyed talking with you and appreciate all the sweet knives I've scored. Thanks a lot

Who knows what's to come? We could all speculate the reasons or what may happen. The Busse Crew is like no other. They do a lot for us and I don't doubt one bit that they have good reasons for this.

I was fortunate to be able to go to Blade twice, but haven't been able to afford it for some years now, so I can relate. Never made it to Indy, but have enjoyed visting Mike at a Columbus show a number of times. But, IMHO, Busse hasn't screwed you, or me, or any customers. Jerry had a business relationship with a dealer for many years, and now he doesn't. Things change, nothing lasts forever. The only thing that Busse owes to their customers is to keep putting out the best knives they can, and to back it up with great service and the great warranty.

Mike is the bomb.

It's already been stated why. No need for speculation.
Looks like I'll be there Fri/ Sat around 3pm after work since I worked a double last night. Hope to see most of you there.
Z51- Hope you make it NEXT weekend since you're feeling poorly THIS weekend ;)
Resinguy- They still have a relationship. Jerry did away with the last part of the remaining dealer program. His company, his rules. Wheather WE like it or not doesn't really matter so in that we agree.

Alright boys, let make it the best show ever and SEND MIKE HOME WITH AN EMPTY CASE!!!!

Bob
