I want to turn a few friends, with modest budgets, onto INFI.

one avenue I want to look into are Busse-kin knives made of INFI.

where can I find out, in one place, which specific 'kin models are INFI?

and, if I may impose one last time - which of those are most/least available?

this is not a solicitation ad.

thanks in advance.

Scrapyard Scrapper 5 LE
Scrapyard Scrapper 4

I know there is more but those 2 are the most famous Bussekin knives sporting INFI.

You want to turn a few friends with modest budgets on to INFI??? ...Oh, man that's cruel!! ;););) :foot: :D

(Scrapper 5 SE too... It's basically an LE with a grey Res-C handle, no number)

Ha, they would be better off ordering a Boss street straight from Busse. The going prices on any of the scrapyard infi offerings is the same price or more (look on Ebay, there was a guy with a continual listing for scrapyard S5 le's for 350, which is as much as a BWM)

$250 seems to be the range they are going at for now, for either of the scrapyard offerings when you see them.

I have seen some as low as $225, but at that price I would jump on a Boss Street because of the mycarta handle.

I second bigfattyt on this one, I'd jump on the boss street now for about the same as the INFI scrapper is going for just for the handles.

+3 on that, you won't find a better deal at this time. Boss St's the way to go. ;)

I actually far prefer the S5LE to the BOSS Street - the mudder handles are more comfortable, the choil is usable, and the balance is more to my liking. It's also a longer knife, so to compare price wise to the BOSS St. is a bit unfair.

Now if their preferences go toward handle heavy balance and solid full tang handle slabs, go for the BOSS, but I like the scrapper 5 much, much better. In fact it's one of my favorite hiking / belt knives.

I would say get the BOSS Street as well. It is a great deal.

I personally do not like Res-C handles as they give me blisters that micarta and G10 do not. But, to each their own,
