As I was preparing breakfast and watching the Today show where the Naked Chef guy was talking about the knives you need in the kitchen, I was thinking I could really use some Busse Kitchen Cutlery.
The knives that were recommended as essential were a Chefs Knife and Paring Knife. I was thinking the paring knife is easy, an Active duty could handle that with no problem. But what about a Chefs knife?
I am thinking maybe a Santoku (sp?) shaped blade with either a Handle like the orignal Satin Jack or a resiprene handle like the Rats. Or a traditional Chefs knife shaped blade. Either of these could simply be a Steel Haert Variant with a Straight handle.
How about some of you with some Photoshop skills give us an idea of how this would look. Maybe we can get the big guy to make som eof these, or at least one for me :D

Hmm, the new finishes could include Broccoli green and mixed-vegetable camo, along with pork chop pink for the OINKers!

i hate to say this again... but you know... you could always make one yourself:rolleyes: ... it wouldnt carry the warranty (kitchen knives arent very good on hard woods...), but youd have infi kitchet cutlery....

I mentioned this before and I'll mention it here again. I'd really like to see a Busse Combat Kitchen Bowie.

Hey grnamin I think Jerry should just make the Bowie, then make two versions... thin for kitchen duty and you can get one with a satin finish, and a fat one for us backwoods abusers! Given that I cook I may have to get one of each!

Well, since Busse knives have failed to win the elusive "carrot cutting" contest, I doubt it....

ROFLMFAO!!!!!! :p ;) :D

I tried searching for "carrot" here, but couldn't find anything that seemed relevant to this. Please elaborate.

 That's it ThatHamGuy!!!!

Don't push me into doing a Special run of the "Busse Combat Carrot Cutter" ! ! ! ! !

    ;)

"Combat Carrot Cutter"....LMAO:D

Jerry you "know" I'm a big fan of the carrot cutting competition;)

I'd buy one in a heartbeat for my kitchen, and I like the way it rolls off the tounge..."Combat Carrot Cutter" or 3C for short.
Hahahahahahahahahaahaha..................:p

Jerry, you grind it we'll buy it.:D :D :D

In the meantime though, I've found the Howling Rat to be super in the kitchen and the new (double blasphemy for me) ultra skinny D2 Rat blades look to be about perfect. The inficoot is really great for boning meat.

I wish my DAB and ZTNO weren't so pristine, but those carrot scratches just ruin a blades looks. :D Maybe ProPork could do a test, I've heard he's in the eatery business. :D Whatcha say John??

An infi Chefs knife would really be trick.

Nick what the hell is this naked chef stuff!? I start work at 06:00 so don't see a lot of early am TV.

Hmmm. A DAB vs. Carrot shootout huh? Why not? I have already used my Bandicoot for sausage making and it performed great. I will have to make some stew or soup this weekend and give some carrots some hell! :D

I've got a Busse that would be great in the kitchen. My Satin Jack variant is a great shape and it is so thin you can actually flex it with just a little thumb pressure, that bad boy would win any carrot cutting competition ;):p

However to be completely fair I bet my teeth could still beat any knife out there for cutting carrots :D:D

That would be fantastic! A SUPER thin piece of INFI with snakeskin nucarta for the kitchen:eek: That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Does that make it a 3 carat/carrot knife? :D

Jerry, if you make 'em now, they can ship in time for Thanksgiving dinner turkey carving. :D

Greg,

If I make it for turkeys, it would be the "BBB" instead of the "CCC"
(The Busse Butcher Blade)!!!!  :D
