Hello everybody. BF newbie and Bussie knife newbie fan. I recently purchased two. One from an online custom store and the second from here. I am so looking forward for Spring. I actually wanted an AB Aftershock bolo style knife, however, my search was unsuccessful. How come they make so few knives? Anyway, my folks needed help with some firewood chopping so I settled for a Bussie Bushwacker BWM. Still waiting for it. I'm still hoping I can find the bolo knife of my dreams :-) It's a wonderful life!!!

Welcome to Bladeforums. They're semi custom knives and hard to come by. But, they kick butt. You'll really like your Bushwacker BWM.

Don't give up, they do tend to still pop up for sale from time to time on the secondary market...

I scored this AB LE #1 from a kind HOG here on the Forums many moons ago:

I am sure you will come to love the Bushwacker!!! In my experience, I found the "E" series Mistress the least effective, for myself. But the BWM is certainly the route to take.
 
I'm new here myself, Eastercowgirl10, but welcome. This is a great place. I love my BWM, and I'm sure you'll love yours as well.

Thank you again for the welcome greetings. The first of the three Busse knives I purchased online just arrived. It's called the SOW as in Santa's Outlaw Wicked knife, and my...this knife is solid & heavy. I haven't examined it fully since it's getting late and work awaits in the am. Perhaps I'll post some pics when all is here. Btw, how do u post an "avatar" in your profile? I don't see any post instructions. Do I have to upgrade subscription to be able to do so?
