I had a little "accident" on Thursday morning in the Arctic Tundra in Ohio. I fell in my driveway walking to my car to go to work in frigid weather on Thursday. I fell holding my purse, cell phone and my coffee. I slipped on ICE on my gravel driveway and coffee went flying (Froze in mid air cause it was cold) and landed right down on my knees. I am ok (Not really) my right knee (Its swollen real bad) but I will get thru it and it will be fine. Went to Dr and they said no breaks but elevate and ICE it down. I just want to say A HUGE THANK YOU to Becky. She is new to BUSSELAND but I have known her for a very long time you are amazing and Thank you so much. Thank you all and XOXO.

Amy, I'm glad your injuries are not too severe! I fell on a thin coating of ice a few years ago, and I went down so fast that I was lying there for a moment and thought "what the heck just happened?". Take good care of yourself!

I can't even begin to comprehend that level of cold...I just can't..!!

Take it easy for a few days and heal up.
 
Sorry to hear Amy, but good that it’s not too serious and time will make it better. May the swelling go down and healing begin!
 
Amy, Amy, what are we gonna do with you. Next time no high heels on ice. Wear regular shoes and put on some yaktrax. Or better yet, call in sick when it is that cold ;)

Wow just saw this, don’t know how I missed it. I’m glad your ok Amy, having your feet come right out from under you is horrible way to fall !! Well again happy to hear your ok and no breaks.
 
Oh no! Fractured my arm once doing the ice on the driveway dance... hope you get to feeling better and nothing is torn..
