Anyone else love the finer things in life?

Let's see yours.:D

Bring It,

i really like the the mag sheath, that rayskin is very nice also.

Mammoth tooth 1911 scales

Here's an old, bad, picture of my 1911 and a Terror Monkey BS

Pic of the 1911 1200 rounds ago, before the main spring had 3 coils cut off, 3.5lb trigger job, fluff and buff, GI guide rod, recoil spring plug, night sights, and tequila sunrise grips. It feels so long ago......:o.....

I know a certain guy in Idaho that may want those grips

These are a few of my favorite things.

Count me in Garth!

Baer and Brown along with a special Belgium fella...

Ed Brown is making the smoothest 1911 at this time... (In my opinion).

Wilson Sentinel... maybe the most compact of all compact 1911's. Completely reliable.... and very accurate.

Broke my heart to trade this old Colt... but it just couldn't compete with the new guys in the safe (or on the hip) ;) Still, she was a beauty. I miss her...

And last... but not least. Old School Kimber. I paid $550 for this one... and would not sell it for ten times that price. When they started out, they built them right. I don't read good things nowdays about their quality control (just sayin').

Pardon the Randall...It is a user too. Still, it ain't INFI... not even close. But She's beautiful in her own way. I sure wish that Busse would produce more in natural handle material. Nothing is more sexy than stag. Micarta and G10 may be tougher in a lab... but I've never seen anyone break sanbar stag. ;) BRING IT!!! I'd like to see some stag Busse...

The 1911 is king! I own many firearms, but their is nothing more sexy than a 1911 in the firearm world.

Hmm, Traded away my old taurus 1911 for a Sig p220, Wich I will never part with. I still have that yearning for a 1911 though. I've been Eyeballing the new Ruger SR1911...or a Coonan in .357 mag :D. havn't decided yet.

Still have the hat and SA Operator, but the NMFBM was traded for the best Swamp Busse ever made... The Tan/Tan Battle Rat!!! I have B10LE #360 on the way, so the BR may be in trouble!!! I know my B9 and HHFSH are worried!!!

Nice 1911's and Knives Fella's!!! Great thread idea Garth!!!

Here is my version of the modern 1911... a Full House Custom I had built at EGW based on an STI 2011 frame holding 16 rounds of .40 S&W. She has a Caspian slide, Kart barrel and a whole bunch of custom parts and features down to the serrations measured and copied from my Glock.

I have one of the older folded/stamped slide P220s. It is nice, but no where near as accurate as my 1911s...

Now, my Sig X5 is closer to the 1911, but still a little behind.

I know you've seen it, but here is my favorite combo:

And did I ever mention that I LOVE these grips??? ;)
