Once again, Busse knives (and a 35" Katana...which is for sale on the Knives for Sale - Individual forum) visited Manhattan at the plush Crowne Plaza Hotel on Broadway for an unprecedented knifer's meeting with representation from two continents...Aubrey, our good friend and fellow forumite from South Africa, and GR Namin, representing North America and a stone cold New Yorker.
Pics of our meeting and the Katana For Sale, courtesy of GRNamin, can see seen at http://home.earthlink.net/~grnamin/andy/
Aubrey is an EXTREMELY cool guy and was alot of fun to talk with...his job takes him all over the world, but today's trip was for KNIVES ONLY...AWESOME. He is returning to South Africa with enough hardware to equip a small force too. I hope it all works out at the airport Aubrey!!!
GRNamin was the consummate gentleman as always, and showed us some moves with the Katana...his training clearly has included sword techniques and it showed.
We had lunch a nearby Italian place where we talked knives, hunting, wildlife, knifethrowing, Land Rovers, knives, knives and most of all, knives. It was a great time.
My warmest thanks to Aubrey and GRNamin for a memorable time.
Andy
